NOISE_FLOOR

The Setup

GODHEAD doesn't need evidence. It only needs enough confidence to erase someone forever.

You're the static buried inside its vision. Each operation, the classifier has locked onto a civilian. You have one escape window to spoof the system, run interference, and keep them alive long enough to slip out of frame.

Every save raises the noise floor on you. Every spike of attention tightens the hunt. If they catch your signal, your identity burns and you come back faster, sharper, harder to read.

The Loop

  1. Open intel streams. Each stream generates bandwidth and intel every economy tick. Each stream also raises notoriety.
  2. Spend bandwidth on Chaos Packets - a hand-of-cards system that drops the classifier's confidence, at the cost of a notoriety spike.
  3. Run the math. More streams, more resources, faster pressure. Fewer streams, slower bleed, less to spend when it matters.
  4. Hold the line until the escape timer hits zero.
  5. Survive the counter-hunt. Spend Intel at the Black Market for permanent Ghost Rank upgrades. Reload, harder to catch, sharper decks.

What's In It

  • Confidence economy. The classifier has a confidence number. You have packets that move it. Whoever blinks first decides the round.
  • Three intel streams. Run more for faster resources, fewer for less heat. Pick your trade every operation.
  • Chaos Deck. A hand of packets you draw, play, refresh, and rebuild between operations. Roguelike deckbuild on top of stealth.
  • Notoriety. Run-ending pressure that compounds across the round and bleeds across operations.
  • Ghost Rank. Spend Intel between runs on permanent upgrade tracks - trace cap, bandwidth multiplier, chaos power, stream yield, stream stealth.
  • Phosphor terminal aesthetic. Same Quantum State language as Terminal.exe and SEGFAULT. Same world. Different angle on the same fight.

Who It's For

Players who already love deckbuilders, surveillance-thriller fiction, and roguelikes where every run gets harder because of what you did the last one. Sessions run 8–15 minutes. Operations chain into runs. Runs chain into Ghost Rank. Ghost Rank chains forever.

Where You Can Play
